Garmin Etrex Vista with PC lead
Our eTrex Vista HCx comes supplied with Topographic Map of Australia on a 2GB microSD card plus CD.
The eTrex Vista also boasts an internal memory capacity of 24 megabytes, which allows it to accept downloaded mapping data from GARMIN's MapSource CD-ROMs. A silver case gives this unit a high-tech look. Marine navigation aids are included in addition to the basemap. These navigational aids are pre-loaded into each unit from the factory.
Increase Waypoint/Tracklog Storage:
Upgrade 3.10, and above, for the eTrex Vista now includes an increased active track log to 10,000 points, an increased saved track log to 750 points, an increased user waypoints to 1,000 waypoints and an increased waypoints per route to 125 waypoints.
Glide Ratio:
Upgrade 2.28, and above, for the eTrex Vista now includes glide ratio, glide ratio to target, and vertical speed to target as choices for all configurable fields.
Jump Mater Program:
Upgrade 2.41, and above, for the eTrex Vista now includes JumpMaster. This accessory follows military guidelines for calculating a jumpmaster's high altitude release point (HARP). The accessory can auto-detect when a user has jumped to begin navigating him toward the desired impact point (DIP) using the barometer and electronic compass.
Area Calculation:
Upgrade 2.18, and above, for the eTrex Vista now includes a new accessory to calculate the area of a track. The area of a saved track is displayed on the track detail page.
